Between the two varieties, the rice seed is very much the same in shape, aroma, taste, cooking and keeping characteristics, while the RD Maejo 2 is a shorter plant, suited to withstand monsoon and autumn storms that are quite prevalent in Thailand's north.</p> <p>It is somewhat unusual to provide this rice as a long-grain <em>sticky brown rice</em>, but the interest and comments in earlier seasons have spurred us to continue. This partially milled sticky brown rice provides more fiber, vitamins and minerals than its fully milled white rice version.</p> <ul><li><a href="/farm/yum/how-to-cook-thai-sticky-rice" rel="nofollow">How to cook Thai Sticky brown rice</a></li> <li><a href="https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/fdc-app.html#/food-details/168875/nutrients" rel="nofollow">Nutrition Facts (USDA)</a></li> <li><a href="http://www.yummly.com/recipes?q=sticky%20brown%20rice" rel="nofollow">Sticky brown rice recipes (Yummly)</a></li> </ul><p>Page last updated 22 April 2021</p></div> <div class="field field--name-field-tags field--type-entity-reference field--label-above field--tags"> <h3 class="field__label field--tags__label">Tags</h3> <ul class="links field__items field--tags__items"> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/4" hreflang="en">Brown Rice</a></li> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/2" hreflang="en">Sticky Rice</a></li> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/7" hreflang="en">Thai Sticky Brown Rice</a></li> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/8" hreflang="en">Long-Grain Sticky Brown Rice</a></li> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/9" hreflang="en">Isaan rice</a></li> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/10" hreflang="en">Rice without chemicals</a></li> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/11" hreflang="en">Rice without pesticides</a></li> <li class="field--tags__item"><a href="/taxonomy/term/12" hreflang="en">Farm-direct rice</a></li> </ul> </div> Thu, 15 Nov 2018 03:10:07 +0000 jwr 9 at https://www.sansaket.com
